198: Last night at Second Pride

I thought I'd take a moment to share a snapshot from last night's set DJed by my friend Lledge Eames and hosted by Novs Morlim (also my friend!).  Looks like Second Pride is packing them in, as usual, and the venue this year looks great!
So I'll encourage my friends and readers to check out the sim, do a little shopping -- I think most or all of the stores have a little Pride-related gift for you. Have some fun and be proud!

197: Alex on the hood

Just thought I'd share the results of a photo shoot from the other night.  We put together a parking lot full of cars for a photo essay on "unity/repetition" and decided to act up a little at the end. Good thing I have such a handsome husband!

196: Urban landscape

I had some fun tonight wandering around an interesting urban landscape taking pictures ... lots of fun shots.  Hope you agree.

195: The Wolverine

My self-imposed task, inspired by "Movie quote", was to put together a scene from The Wolverine (2013) -- the one that takes place mostly in Japan. So I found my old set of adamantium claws ...

Oh, my favourite Wolverine quote? I couldn't add it to the PG-rated Facebook group ...

"Grow those back."

194: Squares

Tonight's theme was squares. It's funny how many things fit that theme if you only look around; I found all these locations within a few metres of each other in a little house Alex Thaub and I are working on.

193: B is for Begging Bassets

Alex Thaub is traveling and that leaves me at sixes and sevens. I sat by our garage and had a pizza and of course Porky and Petunia had to have at least half. As you can see, I starve them terribly LOL.  Once they see food, their gaze becomes fixed; nothing else exists except those calories. Apparently they are trying to beam thoughts into my mind about going away and leaving the box unguarded. Not a chance!

192: Brokeback Skybox

Like so many of my inspirations these days, this one came from my Snap... Do It! photo group on Facebook.  One of the challenges for early March was to be photographically inspired by a movie, and I just happened to pick Brokeback Mountain. Not a huge favourite of mine (too sad!) but a powerful movie nevertheless.
Some of the best pictures I got, the stupid sit pose had Alex's hand going through his knee.  Oh well.  What can't be cured must be endured, as they say.  I've included a couple of the reference photos from the film just to show you what I was trying for.
